Postal HIV testing

Please note, this service will cease on 31st March 2018

You are now able to order a free HIV test kit, that will be posted to you.

The test requires you to take a small sample of blood, place the sample in the free post envelope and post it back to our lab. You will be contacted by a text message or a phone call to receive your result, so please ensure you put the correct mobile phone number.

To order a test kit, please use the form below.

This number will be used to give your result, please ensure you have checked it is correct.

You will be sent an e-mail confirming your order. If you do not receive this, please also check your spam folder.

If you have had any unprotected sex in the last 12 weeks, the window period, you will need to re-test after this time. The window period is the time between potential exposure to HIV and the point the test will give an accurate result.

Please note, this is a pilot project and is only currently available to people over 18 that are living within the boundaries of West Berkshire Council.
